Terms and Conditions

By booking any service, online course, or product, these are the terms you agree to...

1. Appointments (in person and online)

All family members are welcome, and in some cases encouraged, to attend sessions.

All children must be under the supervision of a responsible adult who agrees to prevent them from disturbing the process of learning during the session.

2. Embrace Dogs Obligations

Embrace Dogs will endeavour to provide services as advertised.

Results for behaviour change cannot be guaranteed as this is dependant on many factors including the amount of time and commitment you put in to following given instructions, plans and advice.

Your dog is an individual and therefore, plans and advice may be adjusted on follow up sessions based on observations. This is normal as no two dogs or circumstances are the same, and sometimes it can take time for the best approach to be found for the individual.

Embrace Dogs will endeavour to continue professional development to provide you the most up to date, humane methods and advice. Welfare and emotional wellbeing are of the utmost importance, therefore I will never willingly or knowingly instruct or encourage you to do anything to compromise the physical or psychological wellbeing of your dog.

3. Data Protection

Embrace Dogs will only use personal information about you and your dog for the sole purpose of providing the services you have booked. This also means we will use your data for administration and management purposes but at no time will be given to a third party for any other purpose without your prior consent.

The information supplied by you will be kept secure, but it may need to be shared and discussed with veterinary or other animal care professionals during our working time together with your permission.

4. Photographs and Videos

Videos and photographs may be taken during training sessions of your dog or you and your dog.  This may be for personal, educational or commercial use.  If you would like to opt out of photography, please email embrace.dog@gmail.com

5. Fees

Payment is taken in advance via booking online.

6. Client Obligations

To provide up to date and accurate information regarding your dogs behavioural tendencies. Embrace Dogs will not be liable for any delay or non-performance where you have not provided accurate information.

To be responsible for their dogs health and welfare at all times, including meeting legal requirements for vaccinations, microchipping, wearing a tag with name and address in public and not allowing the dog to behave in a manner that could be perceived as dangerous by others.

Behaviour and health and pain can be closely related, so you may be asked to take your dog for a vet check at your own cost. Failure to do this may result in the termination of services.

Any products that are suggested as part of a consult or training or behavioural plan are the responsibility of the client to purchase.

No other person who is not a party to this agreement shall have any rights to enforce its provision.

Every effort is made to ensure safety of both clients and dogs during sessions. By making a booking, you are accepting that participating in an activity with dogs, children and adults poses a risk of injury to people and your dog, and you agree to indemnify Embrace Dogs for all personal injury and damage to property owned by you while attending the consultation/class session. You also agree to make any person who accompanies you to the session aware that they are also there at their own risk.

The client is duty bound to the safety of the practitioner while in the clients home. Any safety instructions from the practitioner, such as the use of leads, muzzles or physical barriers must be followed or services may be terminated without refund and if deemed necessary, you may be reported to the authorities if members of the family or public are at risk.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations and rescheduling require 72 hours. Failure to give the required notice will make you ineligible for a refund.

Refunds are not available for group classes as there are limited spaces, or failure to attend a 1-2-1 session.

You have the right to a 14 day cooling off period. This period begins when you pay for a service and agree to the terms and conditions.

If you cancel a purchase or initial booking within the 14 day cooling off period, you will receive a full refund.

If you book and receive a service within the 14 day cooling off period, you waive the right to cancel for a full refund, and cancellations will be dealt in accordance with the cancelation policy.

If digital downloads are part of your purchase, you agree to access it within the 14 day cooling off period, and consent to waive the rights of the cooling off period. Refunds cannot be given after having access to digital downloads.

8. Limitations of Liability

Embrace Dogs is not liable for any injury, distress or damage your dog may cause to any person, animal or possession.
